Recently relocated from London, I am now an Exeter based printmaker with a background in architecture.
I love the formal structure of printmaking and the way that it still maintains an element of unpredictability. For me it’s an irresistible combination of careful planning and happy accident.
I make screen prints and lino prints influenced by buildings,domestic interiors and popular culture. I like to express an image as a bold, colourful graphic & sometimes that’s exactly what my prints are – a celebration of shape and colour. Others might be a stylised expression of extreme emotion or a wry social commentary.
Following the recent move to Devon I am finding new inspiration in the landscape and especially on the beach.
